This building was poorly controlled, had runaway energy bills with high levels of colleague complaints.

The Aim was to provide a solution that would help tackle the root causes of energy waste, allow us to analyse data and be proactive in how we use it. ASSURE has helped us to gain a much clearer insight into how our properties function.

ASSURE optimises your building’s performance by reducing energy, carbon and maintenance costs, whilst improving comfort levels.

Working with our partners Platinum Energy, after completing the non-intrusive building management assessment, we integrated the ASSURE solution into the Building Management System (BMS), along with a secure remote connection back to our Energy and Control Centre (eCC). We then analysed and organised meaningful data, applying our expertise and experience via advanced code for powerful bespoke custom rules, insights and live dashboards to help control and manage energy and carbon, whilst increasing colleague comfort levels. The project caused no interruption of service and no disruption to occupants.

The heating and cooling turndown initiative on the Warehouse building at Bower has saved over 213,000 kWh of electricity and 840,500 kWh of gas per annum, which equates to 208 tCO2, and throughout this time we increased staff and colleague comfort levels. Additional savings are to follow, as well as other benefits such as fully connected and managed buildings, significant carbon saving and improved comfort levels with zero complaints.

WHAT’S NEXT?
Continual remote optimisation and data driven improvements to the building’s performance to help increase energy and carbon savings.
