Leading building controls and energy management company BGES Group has announced a new five-year warranty for the design, build, and installation of its building energy management systems (BEMS).
The move is thought to be an industry first within the building controls sector, and aims to give the customer complete reassurance over the quality and longevity of their new BEMS.
BGES Group is offering the extended warranty at no additional cost on newly installed building management systems and associated field equipment, when customers commit to a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) service agreement with BGES Group, following the investment of new or upgraded BMS project work.
PPM services help to improve the life cycle and efficiency of building energy management systems and controls, reducing a building’s operational carbon footprint and saving on energy costs.
The five-year warranty further consolidates BGES Group’s reputation as a company that prides itself on the highest technical standards within the sector. In recent years it has won several major industry accolades, including Technical Innovation of the Year, Engineer of the Year and Young Engineer of the Year at the BCIA Awards.
The company also celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, and achieved the milestone of delivering 10,000 projects to customers across the UK since its foundation. In the last 25 years, BGES staff have spent over one million project hours on customer sites and have built over 7400 BMS control panels.
