Dan Slack and James Mansell join BGES Group as senior project managers

BGES Group has welcomed two industry specialists to the team, to strengthen the delivery of an increasing number of client projects.

Dan Slack joins the BGES London team with 10 years of experience in building management systems. Formerly crowned the BCIA’s Young Engineer of the Year, Dan has worked on a wide scope of projects including retrofits at Wembley Stadium and the Big Ben clock tower.

Dan said, “One of the things that drew me to working at BGES, especially at the London office, was a real sense of camaraderie. With that also comes more opportunity for growth, progression, and autonomy within the role. I’m looking forward to utilising my diverse background in technical install, service, energy analytics and projects to make a difference here at BGES.”

James Mansell

James Mansel from BGESJames Mansell joins BGES Group as a senior project manager with more than 11 years’ experience in building management systems. At his previous job, James oversaw the entire projects department, delivering roughly £2 million worth of projects a year. His biggest project included the Manchester Engineering Campus Development, the single largest construction project ever completed by a higher education institution in the UK. At BGES, James is managing a variety of projects including commercial new builds, retrofits, and restaurant fit outs.

James said, “BGES Group has fantastic ambitions to help decarbonise and save energy using smart building technology – and those goals align with many of my own values. I’m thrilled to join the team and experience this next chapter of growth.

“What’s impressed me so far is that BGES has a very well-formed internal structure that makes running jobs very efficient and much easier – which in turn leads to us delivering timely projects to customers.”
